DDEPL has a total of 2400 m2 space dedicated for surface treatment facilities which includes two dedicated shot blasting facilities of 500 sqm each (1 for Sand Blasting and the other for Glass Blasting) and one dedicated paint booth having 250 m2 covered area.
The Surface Treatment facilities of DDEPL consists of 3 main sections:
» Carbon Steel Abrasive Blasting Halls.
» Stainless Steel Abrasive Blasting Halls (including Blasting by Glass Bead and Quartz).
» Painting, Coating & Cleaning Halls (inc. Airless Paint Sprays etc ).
The most common types of paint applied are inorganic silicate zinc, various Epoxy types (including Polyamide, Polyamine, Vinyl, Phenolic, Mastic, Coal Tar, Zinc Phosphate), Polyurethane, Acrylic, Alkyds (including Amino-alkyds, Urethane-alkyds) and Silicone based
Moreover the climate inside the paint shop is monitored during painting operations with the help of the required devices for checking the humidity and temperature inside the paint booth.
